The legend Jeff Koons
Ever since I saw Jeff Koon's silver balloon bunny sculpture in "The Art Book" I've been smitten with his work and his recent exhibition of balloon animals and an inflatable hulk definitely put a smile on my face.
His pieces make you question your first impression of the sculpture when you find out that the inflatable, air filled representations and actually made out of bronze, wood or stainless steel with mirror finish surfaces.
He states that they do not have any hidden meaning or representation and are just meant to be fun, which makes me love them even more.

MY LITTLE PONY PROJECT
If you are a child in the 80's you probably possessed at least one of the "My Little Pony" toy characters available at the time.
However I don't remember them looking as fantastic as this collection!
The images above are a small collection of my favourites from the "My Little Pony" Project, a pop-up exhibition that was showing in New York that I discovered.

The designs are so different and fabulous and each pony / artist definitely makes their own statement and stands out.The artists that took part were: 6%Dokidoki, 64Colors, Bei Badgirl, Beast Brothers, Camilla d'Errico, Chikuwaemil, Cope2, Dabs & Myla, eimi, Hanazuki, Hime+you, Indie184, Jeremiah Ketner, Malcolm Stuart for Joyrich, Junie Moon, Julie West, Lisa Alisa, Lamour Supreme, Luke Chueh, Madoka Kanoshita, Martin Hsu, Onch Movement, Perez Hilton, Rob Reger, Shojono Tomo, Sucklord, TOUMA, and more.
My favourite designs that featured were from OnchMovement, Edward Fong
and Julie West.
Why not check out what else they are working on!

THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS
At the end of November I went on a last minute trip to New York, it wasn't like anything I expected and I loved it even more for it.
I don't know if it was the place or the fact it was a change of scene but I definitely came back revitalised and inspired!
Although there is so much to do in New York, it made me fall in love with my own city all over again by helping me realise that there is plenty of new and exciting things to do if you only look for it.
Here is a 360 degree video to give you a true impression of the bright lights of Times Square as well as some of my favourite images that I took.
